In this system, the heat load is beautifully transferred to the CO2 refrigerant via the end evaporator. In the NH3/CO2 cascade refrigeration system, both the high and low-temperature sections operate independently with distinct refrigerants. The high-temperature NH3 refrigeration system mirrors a conventional setup, inclusive of a compressor, condenser, liquid storage, and separators. Conversely, the low-temperature CO2 system boasts not only a CO2 compressor but also a sophisticated array of condensing evaporators, reservoirs, filters, pumps, and an expansion vessel, each component working in perfect harmony to maintain system integrity.
