1.NH3/CO2, the principle of cascade refrigeration system
NH3/CO2, the cascade refrigeration system is composed of two parts: high temperature stage and low temperature stage, the high temperature stage uses NH3 as the refrigerant, and the low temperature stage uses CO2 as the refrigerant. The evaporation of refrigerant NH3 in the high temperature level system is used to condense the refrigerant gas CO2 discharged from the low temperature level. A condensation evaporator is used to connect the two parts of the high and low temperature levels, which is both the condenser of the low temperature level and the evaporator of the high temperature level.
The heat load is transferred to the CO2 refrigerant through the end evaporator, and the heat absorbed by the CO2 refrigerant is transferred to the high-temperature NH3 refrigerant through the condensing evaporator, and the high-temperature NH3 refrigerant then transfers the heat to the high-temperature condenser and releases it to the environment through the cooling medium. The condensed CO2 in the condensing evaporator enters the CO2 reservoir, and then enters the CO2 gas-liquid separator through the dryer filter and throttle valve. The liquid CO2 is sent to the CO2 evaporator through the CO2 circulation pump (no end cooling device, such as single freezer or chiller, etc.). After the evaporator, the two-phase CO2 returns to the gas-liquid separator, and the gaseous CO2 is sucked by the compressor and compressed into the condensing evaporator. This cycle is repeated to complete the entire cascade refrigeration cycle.
NH3/CO2, in the cascade refrigeration system, the high and low temperature levels are respectively refrigeration systems using a single refrigerant. The equipment composition is also divided into two parts: the high-temperature NH3 refrigeration system is the same as the conventional refrigeration system, in addition to the refrigeration compressor, but also includes the condenser, liquid storage, gas-liquid separator and throttling device; Low temperature CO2 refrigeration system, in addition to CO2 compressor, also includes condensing evaporator, reservoir, gas-liquid separator, filter dryer, pump, throttling device, evaporator and expansion vessel.
The CO2 gas-liquid separator is used to separate the droplets of CO2 gas from the evaporator in the CO2 compression refrigeration system to avoid the wet stroke of the compressor, maintain a stable liquid level when the pump is running, and store the end equipment and pipeline liquid return when the pump stops running. If the gas-liquid separator is used as a reservoir of CO2 when it is not running, its volume should be able to hold all the CO2 liquid in the system. At the same time, the auxiliary evaporator should be set on the top of the gas-liquid separator to effectively prevent the CO2 pressure from being too high after shutdown. In the NH3/CO2 cascade refrigeration system, the condensing evaporator is both the evaporator on the NH3 side and the condenser on the CO2 side, in which the compound liquid evaporates and absorbs heat in the tube, and the carbon dioxide gas is condensed into a liquid in the shell.
2. Advantages of NH3/CO2 cascade refrigeration system.
(1) Reduced NH3 unsafe factors:
(1.(1))NH3/CO2 cascade refrigeration system greatly reduces the condensing pressure of the NH3 refrigeration medium charge, about 1/10 of the traditional ammonia refrigeration system charge;
(1.(2))NH3 is limited to the machine room, equipment room, equivalent to the "tiger" in the "cage ", guarded by professional and technical personnel;
(1.(3))full use of NH3 in the high-temperature region of the good heat transfer properties, used to cool CO2.
(2) CO2 as a medium into the personnel-intensive operation room (such as single-freezing machine) and the warehouse, to ensure the safety of personnel and property.
