3. Ammonia's high refrigeration capacity per unit volume means less refrigerant circulation is required per unit of cooling capacity. It also boasts high thermal conductivity and a significant latent heat of vaporization.

5. Ammonia operates at low pressures, which translates to reduced machinery demands and lower material costs for refrigeration systems.
6. Its distinct pungent odor makes ammonia leaks easy to detect using odor, leak test paper, or test drugs. Humans can detect as little as 50mg/m³ of ammonia in the air, ensuring rapid response to leaks.
7. Ammonia doesn't dissolve in mineral oil and easily separates from it at low temperatures. Its lower density compared to oil allows refrigeration oil to settle beneath the ammonia liquid, facilitating efficient oil return to the system.
