2. Boasting a low boiling point and moderate pressure conditions in both the condenser and evaporator, ammonia ensures efficient performance.
3. Its high refrigeration capacity per unit volume means less refrigerant is needed for the same cooling capacity. Moreover, ammonia offers superior thermal conductivity and latent heat of vaporization.
4. Experience minimal throttling loss and exceptional operating efficiency.
5. With low operating pressure, the demands on machinery are reduced, leading to lower material costs for the refrigeration system.
6. Ammonia's distinct pungent odor makes it easily detectable in case of leaks, either through smell or with leak test paper and test drugs. Humans can detect ammonia in the air at concentrations as low as 50mg/m3.
7. Ammonia does not dissolve in mineral oil, making it easy to separate from oil even at low temperatures. Thanks to its lower density, refrigeration oil sinks below the ammonia liquid, facilitating oil return to the refrigeration system.
8. It maintains stable thermodynamic and chemical properties at both room and low temperatures.

For instance, a high-efficiency variable pitch stainless steel coil air cooler used as a warehouse evaporator requires only 5% of the ammonia injection compared to traditional smooth discharge pipes, cutting ammonia use by 95%.
